Lin Singapore designed this 100 meter long cable-stayed bridge that crosses over the newly completed PIE Expressway (Tuas end).;Spanning between two hillocks, the state-of-the-art cable-stayed design makes full use of the existing environment and site topography. The 180 meter long bridge deck is "lifted up" by nine bridge stays from an inclined pylon held in position by three sets of back stay cables.;The merging of the stay cables at the top of the pylon, signifies strength, leadership and unity, the goals of the SAFTI Military Institute and National Defense.
